Holland and back, in 15 hours flat.

Kevin drove over from ISU today and I was like, “Hey, do you want to go to Michigan today?” He'd never been to Michigan before, so 4.5 hours later we were in Holland, MI in Lisa's apartment.

One of my all time favorite people, Lisa, was to play a Mozart concerto for the first time ever later that evening. The best part was that she had an orchestra to accompany her. Her VERY OWN orchestra. Now how many of you can admit to that?

Sitting there listening to her was one of those few and fleeting moments when I felt truly happy and truly at peace. It was beautiful. She was beautiful.

I laughed so hard in the last 15 hours that my smile hurts. Favorite Kevin quotes:
“I really feel that aluminium foil is the most futuristic of all the kitchen food coverings.”
“We can't go to Canada. Its dark. Canada is closed.”

Sleep well, fans. Sleep well.

*Edit* Lisa just sent me these pictures.
